Watch out for eCommerce on Facebook


Facebook is certainly going to emerge as a commerce platform- the question is not about if, it’s all about when?

Waiting around for an answer to that question will be a complete waste of time. Brands should be selling something on Facebook now, it could be a bunch of your inventory, or as in the case of Heinz above, one interesting item that could be tied into a marketing campaign. Also have a look at another current campaign by Toyota which uses the facebook platform in an innovative marketing campaign.

The point is the time is now to try, test and learn because a magic moment when Facebook becomes a viable commerce platform has already arrived.

Stop waiting around, get selling.
